""The Lion King", the original, was an important part of the Disney animation renaissance, which regained relevance in the global cinema also due to that story about a little lion heir to the throne who is forced to face the usurping uncle, all based on references such as Shakespeare, the anime "Kimba, the White Lion" and even the Bible. Directed by Jon Favreau ("Mogli, the Wolf Boy"), the new "The Lion King" repeats the famous story, but loses the audience precisely because of the excess of realism it tries to achieve. Although displaced from what we see in the image, the original voice work is incredible, including names like Donald Glover, Beyoncé, Seth Rogen, James Earl Jones, Chitewel Ejiofor and many more. As the original songs composed by Elton John are also present, it is impossible not to get excited and sing "Circle of Life" and "Hakuna Matata" - even if reason is always telling you that the first version is still much better."
