"The direction of 'Triple 9' is rather uneven, but this thriller has the fortune of having an original premise script, and a luxury cast composed of Casey Affleck, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Kate Winslet, Woody Harrelson and Anthony Mackie. The result is a movie with some clichés, but it is compensated by its striking action sequences."
