This short story is about the life of a Chakkiwala (The flour-mill man) who handles all his chores and challenges of life with a blink of an eye. . The character is a simple man who has a simple living in his own shop. . The routine of him, depicts running his shop making flour for all the people who live in an around the vicinity of his shop. He doesn't talk much, and is seen being acknowledged with very few local passer-by's who know him. The only one thing he does is making flour with this flour machine for everyone. Amidst all of this when covid hit in India things had taken a drastic toll over everyone's life. Despite that the work must continue and bringing bread and butter to table was much of a worry every human being. This character here has seen it all and has been the most affected one. The story is shown where his machine is an old one and keeps getting spoiled frequently. The business kept fluctuating off and on. Over hearing people talk about changing from manual work of getting the flour made to refined packaged flour from a direct company was disheartening for him. Yet to strike a balance between his mind and his work duties he comes to point where he checks out and compares the quality of the packed atta ( flour powder) with his own machine made flour. That's when he realizes the difference between the two. The deciding front of the film is where he chooses to make the dough out of both the flour and compare the taste of them. There is a dilemma that he is been put through, where in seeing the rapid change that takes place over decades in the city and across. From farm to the company and the introduction of AI technology, the journey so far has been a revolution for everyone. This character takes a while to seep in the change and gets going to getting back up dusting himself to moving on positively. He gets back on track and continues to start his day afresh with a positive mind frame. Moral : Life goes on.. amidst all the challenges life has to throw. We get back up dust ourselves and get going.. The End.
