It follows Flora, a single mom who is at war with her son, Max. Trying to find a hobby for Max, she rescues a guitar from a dumpster and finds that one person's trash can be a family's salvation.
"Flora (Eve Hewson) is a single mother who simply doesn't know what to do with Max (Orén Kinlan), her rebellious teenage son. When the police suggest that Flora find a hobby for Max, she hands him an old guitar. What she thought would turn into hours of playing some off-key chords soon becomes something bigger with the help of a failed musician from Los Angeles (Joseph Gordon-Levitt).
