An Irish boy and a Spanish girl journey into the mythical world of the Megaloceros Giganteus, who teach them to appreciate Riverdance as a celebration of life.
"Inspired by the musical and dance show 'Riverdance' (which translates to "Dance of the River"), 'Riverdance: The Animated Adventure' is the story of a boy and a girl who travel to a magical world, where a species of deer teach them the titular dance as a way to celebrate life and confront suffering. It may not reach the level of quality of a Pixar or DreamWorks movie, but there is good animation here (even if it all seems a pretext to create a movie about traditional Irish dancing). The younger members of the family will enjoy it more for its humor and tender story."
