hen Van Helsing's mysterious invention, the "Monsterfication Ray", goes haywire, Drac and his monster pals are all transformed into humans, and Johnny becomes a monster. In their new mismatched bodies, Drac, stripped of his powers, and an exuberant Johnny, loving life as a monster, must team up and race across the globe to find a cure before it's too late, and before they drive each other crazy. With help from Mavis and the hilariously human Drac Pack, the heat is on to find a way to switch themselves back before their transformations become permanent.
"If you enjoyed the previous three films of the 'Hotel Transylvania' saga, 'Transformania' is one of those surefire entertainments. Here, the story revolves around, as the subtitle suggests, a transformation: Drac and his friends become humans while young and enthusiastic Johnny transforms into a monster. In addition to typically funny situations, full of absurd moments that should make the whole family laugh, there is a good message for the little ones who, in the end, are the main interested in the movie. Themes such as acceptance and understanding of the next come naturally within the story. Much of this is also due to the good voice work, in the original audio, of actors of the caliber of Andy Samberg (from the comedy series 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine'), Selena Gomez ('A Rainy Day in New York'), Steve Buscemi ('The Big Lebowski'), David Spade ('Joe Dirt') and Keegan-Michael Key ('Keanu: Where's My Cat?')."
