It's a movie that overflows with love for the French New Wave -a constant reference being actor Alain Delon and his film 'Le Samouraï', directed by Jean-Pierre Melville- and its influences from 1960s cinema in general. The result is like a strange idiosyncratic comedy, like an innocent contemporary version of 'Bonnie and Clyde', with a manifest love for cinema."
