Jamie New is 16 and doesn’t quite fit in—instead of pursuing a “real” career he dreams of becoming a drag queen. With an 80s aesthetic and a great story carrying a positive message, this film is inspired by true events. We follow Jamie New, a 16 year old teenager who feels like a fish out of water. His dream is to become a drag queen and make a career out of it. With the support of his family and friends, he goes after it. Despite the prejudices, the production shows how important it is to go after what we want. Some of the songs are incredible, as well as the cast - special mention to Max Harwood and Lauren Patel, who make their feature film debut in the best way possible."
