The Spongebob Movie: Sponge on the Run

"Success on television through the Nickelodeon channel, the character SpongeBob has already had several adventures in the movies - most of them just reasonable, mostly due to the lack of tone compared to the animation. Now, a new SpongeBob, Patrick and company feature film arrives in the Netflix catalog after Paramount gave up on releasing the movie in theaters due to the new coronavirus pandemic, and sold it to the streaming service. Again, there is no essence of the animated series here. Some jokes don't work and, again, the story takes place mostly outside of Bikini Bottom. However, the laughs are guaranteed with some adventures of SpongeBob and Patrick, who once again present a good chemistry. And the final scene, which serves as a tribute, is enough to bring tears."
