A homicide investigator digs deeper into a case involving a trained military sniper who shot five random victims.
"Tom Cruise shows once again that he was born to make action movies. With great performances and big sequences, 'Jack Reacher' stands out in the genre by bringing an investigation beyond explosive scenes. It can be said that the story is a mix of 'The Bourne Identity' with Sherlock Holmes. If you are a fan of Tom Cruise and action movies, you won't regret embarking on 'Jack Reacher: The Last Shot'. It is worth noting that this was the second film that Christopher McQuarrie directed, he was already known for his scripts. He started his partnership with Tom Cruise when he wrote 'Valkyrie' in 2008. Years later came 'Jack Reacher: The Last Shot', the two also worked together on 'The Mummy' and 'Edge of Tomorrow', where McQuarrie acted as a screenwriter. The filmmaker also embarked on the more recent 'Mission: Impossible' films, having directed 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol', 'Fallout' and will also command the next two chapters of the franchise."
