"In a similar vein to classic action thrillers such as Die Hard, Final Score is a movie with no greater aspirations beyond pure, spectacle-driven escapism—and it succeeds in that goal resoundingly. Outside of its amazing action scenes, it may not seem very innovative in comparison to other productions in the genre. Nonetheless, former wrestler Dave Bautista convinces as a serious action hero outside of more comedic projects like Guardians of the Galaxy and Spy Guys, so he could easily become the star of his own franchise in years to come."
