An encounter of novelist Lúcio Cardoso and poet Murilo Mendes haunting ghosts with their characters.
"The highly acclaimed feature film "What Would This World Be Without Passion?" by director Luiz Carlos Lacerda (of the controversial "Introduction to Blood Music") dives into the journey of two writers (Armando Babaioff and Saulo Arcoverde) who die and believe they will find peace in the spiritual plane. However, contrary to their expectations, they end up returning to Earth as ghosts and are pursued by the characters from their books. It is once again a creative film by Lacerda, who does not settle for formats or genres. For this, the viewer must be ready to face a movie full of experimentation and highs and lows. Nevertheless, the premise of the script and good moments of humor should please the general public, in search of national comedies that escape the formula of films by Leandro Hassum and the like."
