"Directed by Reiner Holzemer (who has been behind other documentaries about the world of fashion like 'Dries', about Dries Van Noten), 'Martin Margiela: In His Own Words' is an unusual approach to the titular designer, one of the most radical and enigmatic personalities in fashion, who explains the importance of anonymity for him, and takes us on a journey through his career and life, which from his early years already showed signs of his ambition for fashion design. The also known as "the Banksy of fashion" also reveals the reasons why he decided to leave his own brand in 2014."
