Here, director Francis Lawrence (from 'The Hunger Games') puts Will Smith's character as the only survivor of a collapsed world -- besides, of course, his companion dog. The rest of the people in the world were infected, turning them into a kind of zombie. As said, it is the most devastating version possible for a viral infection scenario. But the emotion with some scenes, Will Smith's remarkable performance and the comforting ending can serve as good entertainment."
