On a journey to find the cure for a Tatarigami's curse, Ashitaka finds himself in the middle of a war between the forest gods and Tatara, a mining colony. In this quest he also meets San, the Mononoke Hime.
"Movie with the most powerful message about environmentalism and ecology, 'Mononoke-hime' is an epic about the importance of protecting the environment. And to tell this, director and screenwriter Hayao Miyazaki takes advantage of the journey of the young warrior Ashitaka. Wounded in a battle against a possessed boar god, he will need to cross the lands of his kingdom, in a frequent war, to find the cure with the god of nature. However, as a good Studio Ghibli film, he will find a series of tests and messages throughout his journey, understanding and intensifying his teachings on cooperation, empathy and friendship. It is a brilliant movie, from beginning to end, and it should move those with hearts and souls a little more sensitive."
