An unusual set of circumstances brings unexpected success to a pop star.
"Selected for the Venice Film Festival, 'Vox Lux' is a captivating movie that explores the complications of contemporary celebrity worship, as well as the hidden and even violent side it hides and rarely reflects on. The pace of the film is somewhat uneven, but its impressive visual proposal and Natalie Portman's incredible performance are more than enough to watch. The cast also features Jude Law (repeating the partnership with Natalie seen in 'Closer') and Stacy Martin ('The Formidable')."
