A pair of teenagers with cystic fibrosis meet in a hospital and fall in love, though their disease means they must avoid close physical contact.
"If you like melodramatic romances with unrequited love and illness, in the style of 'The Fault in Our Stars', 'Five Feet Apart' brings the same type of emotional story that will make you emotional. The much needed reflection on human contact stands out from start to finish: how a hug can be crucial as a gesture of comfort or affection. In addition, there is an evident interest of the director, Justin Baldoni, to inform and raise awareness about the condition that affects the protagonists, cystic fibrosis. The cast is a must-see: Haley Lu Richardson ('Split'), Cole Sprouse ('Zack & Cody') and Moises Arias ('Hannah Montana')."
