South African journalist Rian Malan searches for the original writers of the legendary song "The Lion Sleeps Tonight."
"Closing (at least for now) the 'ReMastered' documentary series, 'The Lion and the Forgotten Musician' tells the sad story of a song: 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight.' Although Solomon Linda is today recognized as the composer of the hit song, he died in 1962 with less than $25 in his bank account. The family has claimed millions in compensation for lost copyright rights — in a story that shows the rapacious reality of discrimination and injustice in the music industry."
