There Was a Killing

On June 18, 2020, a new law protecting farmers entered into force in Canada. Regan Russell was killed the very next day. This documentary tries to prove that it was no accident. The driver who hit Regan received no punishment. Anita Krajnc, on the other hand, faced a potential ten-year prison sentence for giving water to a pig. Nevertheless, the fact that governments pass such laws at all is clear evidence that animal rights movements are indeed strong.
