Rio de Janeiro, 1997. Nascimento – captain of the Police Elite Squad – is facing a crisis: he is about to become a father and will have to take charge in a dangerous mission in the convoluted world of Rio de Janeiro slums and drug dealing in order to secure the Pope during his visit to the city.
