"Directed by Sao Paulo native Caio Cobra, 'Intervenção' is the new movie from Rodrigo Pimentel, creator and screenwriter of 'Tropa de Elite'. The feature film tells a story about the Unidades de Polícia Pacificadora - a project from the Rio de Janeiro State Security Secretariat to establish community police in favelas, known as UPPs. The title of the production refers to an intervention by the Military Police carried out in 2008 in Rio de Janeiro communities. A Brazilian production with good rhythm and story, as well as great performances by Babu Santana, Bianca Comparato and Marcos Palmeira."
