Parvis, the son of exiled Iranians, was caught shoplifting. He is sentenced to community service at a refugee shelter where he meets the siblings Banafshe and Amon, who have fled Iran. As a romantic attraction between Parvis and Amon grows, the fragile relationship between the three is put to the test.
"The German movie co-written and directed by Faraz Shariat. In the plot, Benny Radjaipour (Parvis Joon), a young man of Iranian descent born in Germany, is sentenced to 120 hours of community service for a relatively trivial offense, serving his sentence in a refugee center. In parallel to this, there is the story of other refugee characters, one of them being a gay couple. The narrative tries to answer the difficult question of whether love is possible in a country where gays are under attack. 'Wir' is a production with a relevant message and reflects how some regions of the world are completely stuck in time. Faraz Shariat did a delicate and important job."
