This film will tell the moving true story of the Greenham Common Women's Peace Camp and how it changed the world.
"In the 1980s, when Ronald Reagan assumed the presidency of the United States, the nuclear race with the Soviet Union reached its highest peak since the 1960s. In September 1981, a group of Welsh women organized a protest against the British government's decision to allow US cruise missiles to be stored at the Royal Air Force base in Greenham Common, near London. This action was the first of a series - for almost two decades of work. Their story is little known and this documentary fills that gap. If burning bras - which never happened - has erroneously become a feminist symbol, the subject of this film deserves even more media attention. 'Mothers of the Revolution' is a more than necessary production."
