Margot, a documentary filmmaker, heads to a secluded Amish community in the hopes of learning about her long-lost mother and extended family. Following a string of strange occurrences and discoveries, she comes to realize this community may not be what it seems.
"After six years of hiatus, one of the most famous current horror franchises returns with 'Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin'. The seventh film in the found footage series tells the story of a documentary filmmaker who, in order to reconnect with her deceased mother, decides to go to a secluded Amish community and film that village and its coexistence. However, gradually strange events begin to happen and she realizes that the community is not as calm as it seems. The movie is produced by the well-known Jason Blum, owner of Blumhouse, and by Oren Peli, creator of the franchise. In addition, it includes a heavyweight name for the script, Christopher Landon, known for his famous teenage films such as 'Happy Death Day' and 'Freaky' - he also directed a feature from the franchise: 'Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones'. A movie to satisfy fans of the film series and lovers of terror."
