"Directed by Fernanda Teixeira, a newcomer to feature films, "O Que Resta" is a Brazilian production with a somewhat experimental approach to telling the story of Barbara and Luiz, a couple who decide to go together to a distant friend's house, looking for emotional refuge. Inside the place, which is always full because of extravagant parties, the two finally externalize all their repressed desires and wishes with parties, conversations, discoveries and experiments. Even though it has somewhat detestable characters, with no connection to the audience, it is possible to dive into this story by surrendering to the sensations that the director proposes, forgetting a little bit of the narrative side."
