When an island populated by happy, flightless birds is visited by mysterious green piggies, it's up to three unlikely outcasts - Red, Chuck and Bomb - to figure out what the pigs are up to.
"Video game-inspired movies tend to fail, if we remember adaptations like 'Tomb Raider', 'Mortal Kombat' and 'Assassin's Creed'. However, the mobile game 'Angry Birds' ended up working surprisingly well on the big screen with the fun and unusual animation 'The Angry Birds Movie'. Here, we follow the story of Red, a bird with problems controlling his stress, as well as the fast Chuck and the volatile Bomba, friends who have never had their values recognized. When mysterious green pigs invade the island where they live, these "heroes" will be responsible for discovering what the pig gang's plan is. Although it is not the most original animation of all, having some echoes of 'The Smurfs', the feature should entertain children and adults."
