Bursting pipes, rotting walls, and unidentifiable slime were not what Don Koch expected when he convinced his wife Liz that he could rehab their new Victorian home himself. In over his head, under duress, and tempted by his old weaknesses, Don soon discovers that the house has its own dark, sordid history and won't be so easy to renovate after all...
"Starring Phillip Jack Brooks (better known by his ring name C.M. Punk) and Trieste Kelly Dunn ('The Passage'), 'Curse on the Third Floor' is an effectively macabre horror story. We have the debut of famous independent film producer Travis Stevens in his role as director. The story is about Don Koch, a man who tries to renovate a dilapidated house for his family, only to discover that the house has a horrible past, which we uncover as the plot progresses. What quickly becomes clear is that the house is a metaphor made real of Don's toxic masculinity. So as his "remodeling" progresses, the house seems to crumble. The music of the movie is really good and C.M. Punk is absolutely believable in every scene. A great option to get your adrenaline going with a good scare."
