Peter returns to his Transylvanian hometown, Valan, where a dead body was found in the snow-capped mountains. The investigation about his 22 years missing sister leads him to the maze of grave sins of present and the past, where he has to fight not only with local criminals but his own demons too.
"With a dark atmosphere that dominates the story and characters, this is a very intriguing Hungarian crime thriller. In the plot, a police officer returns to his hometown to investigate a crime and ends up having to fight his own demons, which mix with the past and present. Director Béla Bagota, who is an expert in montage, managed to build very well the way the scenarios talk to the story. Not only that, the mystery atmosphere is well developed, little by little we discover pieces of the plot and that is engaging. It is very interesting to see how he managed to use curiosity to his advantage even in the most banal scenes. It is impossible not to make a comparison with master Alfred Hitchcock, who was able to hold the audience from beginning to end by placing suspense in trivial situations. It is relevant to mention that this is the feature film debut of Béla Bagota."
