Somewhere in the West Bank, Chaim, an Israeli soldier is wounded and loses his memory. He is found in a village and mistaken for a young Palestinian who disappeared a long time ago. Now he starts questioning the meaning of the war.
""Palestine: A Land in Conflict" is replaced by "Palestine". Palestina has been in a state of war for years, dominating geography classes and news broadcasts around the world. And there never seems to be an end to the conflict. With this in mind, filmmakers Julio Soto Gurpide and Mohamed El Badaoui shot 'Palestine', this feature film that takes advantage of a rather peculiar situation (and a bit cheesy, let's admit it): an Israeli soldier is wounded and loses his memory and then is treated as a long-lost Palestinian youth. It is the cue for the characters - and the viewers, within this story - to question the validity of this war that has killed so many people and, at a certain point, seems to make no sense anymore."
