In a parallel modern-day Stone Age world, a working-class family, the Flintstones, are set up for an executive job. But they learn that money can't buy happiness.
"One of the most well-known, celebrated, and beloved Hanna-Barbera animations, 'The Flintstones' got a movie to call its own in 1994. The characteristic strokes of the drawing gave way to flesh and blood actors, with names like John Goodman and Rick Moranis in the roles of Fred and Barney. Obviously, there is not the same laughter as the drawing and many say that the children's production infantilized the Hanna-Barbera animation too much. However, it cannot be denied that the actors fit perfectly into their roles and, although not as successful as the live-action films of 'Scooby-Doo', they conquered the little ones and, who knows, brought even more fans to the Yaba-Daba-Doo characters."
