This animated short film is inspired by a spoken word poetry video created in response to the murder of Ahmaud Arbery.
"There is no doubt that this is one of the most interesting and innovative shorts on Netflix. After all, the originality of this production starts with the visuals. Directors Arnon Manor and Timothy Ware-Hill called on more than a dozen artists to create the aesthetic and artistic thread of the short film, making each frame of the production have a different look. It gives dynamism and the correct impression that many voices are rising. On the other hand, 'Cops and Robbers' awakens to the situation of black people in the face of excessive and criminal police violence. It's a shame that it's too specific to the situation in the United States and doesn't break barriers -- many of the poetic rhymes and jokes in the short, by the way, make sense only in English. But, in the end, a splendid work that deserves attention not only for the strong message of its message, but also for the creative force seen on the screen."
