Beatrice Prior must confront her inner demons and continue her fight against a powerful alliance which threatens to tear her society apart with the help from others on her side.
"After a relatively mediocre success with 'Divergent', the saga returned to the big screen one year later with 'Insurgent'. Out goes Neil Burger ('The Illusionist') from the direction and in comes Robert Schwentke ('The Captain', 'RED'), who makes the whole production a bit more pasteurized and with generic tones. However, despite a slight drop in quality compared to the first feature film, we find a production that still manages to bring interesting youth themes in a dystopian environment, with good performances by Shailene Woodley, Kate Winslet and Ansel Elgort. It's not great, but it's a way to pass the time."
