"South Korean cinema has always been good, but the West only started to show more interest after 'The Handmaiden', by Park Chan-wook, and 'Parasite' by Bong Joon-ho - which was the first non-English language film to win the Oscar for Best Picture and changed the history of the seventh art. Based on that, it's easier to say that most of the productions made in South Korea are good, interesting and with good plot twists.
