A con man with freedom supervised starts a bloody path of revenge when his little daughter dies in a car crash after of First Communion's celebration.
"Who said that Spain's blockbuster cinema only produces suspense and horror, like 'El Cuerpo', 'Um Contratempo' and 'O Poço'? Not at all. The country is also making its mark on the decade with good shoot 'em up, punch 'em up and blow 'em up films. This is the case with 'Adiós', a feature film by Paco Cabezas (of 'Fúria' with Nicolas Cage) and starring Mario Casas (of 'Remédio Amargo'). In the style of the best films of Cage himself, 'Adiós' follows a father seeking revenge for his daughter's death. There are no great moments, nor audacity in the way Cabezas leads the story - points that stand out in Spanish cinema. However, those who like a good action thriller with a dose of violence and revenge will find here a space to rediscover this genre so characteristic of the cinemas."
