She was an icon of the gay clubs in Rio de Janeiro and her journey began at 18 years old. The documentary, which has a conventional format, is quite realistic showing the glamorous side of Lorna and also the difficult life she faced. Her irreverent style and remarkable performances make the work even richer. It is worth mentioning that Lorna Washington is also a symbol of militancy, for her fight against prejudice and awareness about HIV.
