"Nicolas Cage is an actor ready for anything and everything. He makes period films ('The Emperor'), dramatic comedies ('Me, God and Bin Laden'), action comedies ('Mom and Dad'), experimental films ('Mandy', 'The Color That Fell From Space') and, of course, over-the-top suspense films -- that is, those that exaggerate in tone and story to entertain. This is the case with 'Looking Glass', a feature film starring Cage and directed by Tim Hunter ('Hannibal') that focuses on an apparently banal story: a man who buys a roadside motel to become his new income. However, in the middle of this journey, he ends up facing a murder. And then, in the best tone of Cagian cinema, as in 'Fury' or 'Vengeance at Dusk', strange things begin to happen. And a warning: this is another one of those Cage pearls, full of holes, highs and lows and strange moments. But if you accept the strangeness of the movie, you will find great fun."
