"The premise of "Adam Driver of the Future fighting dinosaurs" sounds so delightfully ludicrous that it should be irresistible. Yet, 65: To the Brink of Extinction feels like a missed opportunity to do something truly original and fun. The movie follows a pilot (Driver) who, after a catastrophic accident, ends up falling to Earth 65 million years ago, when dinosaurs still dominated the planet. Along with the sole survivor from the ship, he must find the escape capsule to get off the planet... before it's too late or they get eaten alive. 65 falls into many, many clichés both from action cinema and low-budget sci-fi, not to mention the tiresome recurrence of including a character who doesn't speak English to create tension with the protagonist. It offers an hour of typical enjoyment, but it's not nearly as fun as it could have been."
