"In 2017, the FBI uncovered one of the largest scandals in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the sports association of universities in the United States. At the time, Christian Dawkins, an agent and executive in the sector, found himself in the middle of a serious case of fraud and bribery. And it is from this story that the documentary 'The Scheme' focuses on, in which director Pat Kondelis (from the film 'Disgraced') talks more about the investigation's behind-the-scenes, the consequences and, mainly, Dawkins' story. Despite talking about a crime of a typically American association, the thriller rhythm and the good editing of the film help the general public to be interested in what is being told. Not to mention some twists and turns, which give more flavor to the production."
