""Road movies" are, par excellence, the film genre that explores the conflicting relationships between its characters while revealing the culture in which they inhabit (there are examples as varied as 'Little Miss Sunshine', 'Easy Rider: No Destination' or 'Thelma & Louise', to name just a few). Winner of several awards in the festival circuit of its native Canada, 'The Dancing Dogs of Dombrova' follows the tradition of the genre, with two brothers who are forced to overcome differences and face their common past while exploring the hometown of their grandmother, a Polish immigrant, and face a series of eccentric characters and crazy situations. Because of its history, the feature may remind you a bit of Pawel Pawlikowski's 'Ida', but its humor and duo of protagonists are closer to Wes Anderson's 'The Darjeeling Limited'."
