The Beatles agree to accompany Captain Fred (Lance Percival) in his Yellow Submarine and go to Pepperland to free it from the music hating Blue Meanies.
"Released during the peak of Beatlemania (and just under two years before it came to an end), 'Yellow Submarine' is one of the best movies ever created around The Beatles and their music. The plot is merely a pretext for the colorful, mind-blowing images you'll see on screen, unified as a psychedelic music video turned into a feature length film. So beware, it's really not an animated adventure for kids, but more of an abstract wave of color in line with Disney's 'Fantasia', which will be enjoyed by both Beatles fans and art lovers alike."
