After the android E-Lena (Vanessa Tomascsek) crash landed on Earth, she immediately made friends with Julian (Julian Gruber) and his girlfriend Anna (Svea Häger) who offered her to stay at their place. However, due to E-Lenas constant charging of her batteries, she's been driving up the electricity costs. Her friends think it's time for her to look for a job, so she begins to work at the call center "Hold The Line". Because of her odd behavior, E-Lena's co-worker and conspiracy theorist, Franko Giessen (Patrick Müller), slowly but surely suspects her of not being human. He makes it his mission to uncover the truth and is convinced to be saving the world from a robot invasion.
