From an exhibition of the film Antes, o Verão (1968) at the MAM-RJ Cinemateca in 2005, the film follows the rediscovery of the life and career of filmmaker Gerson Tavares, who has been away from cinema for more than thirty years. The film documents his reunion with the past.
