A suburban YouTuber from Salvador seeks redemption after a pandemic scandal leads to digital cancellation, navigating online culture amidst a health crisis.
The Suburban Artist is a youtuber from Salvador (capital of Bahia, a Brazilian state) who after being caught in the "Quarantine Fest", in the midst of the 2020 pandemic, is digitally canceled. Out of job and trying to recover his image, he does everything to resolve the situation. Playing with cinema and internet productions, the film portrays how the inhabitants of the Subúrbio Ferroviário of Salvador have faced the state of sanitary calamity.
