In a grimy fast-food joint, Anna dreams beyond the stagnant ambiance. When she embarks on a romance with a regular, Chase, it sparks her self-assured transition out of stagnation.
This is a film about making the choice to chase your dreams. Our characters exist entirely within the four walls of a fast-food restaurant; if it can be called such. A shack more like it, one you go to because you're plastered. Not because the food is good or even tolerable, but because its hot, cheap, and more importantly open. This is a portal where time stands still, and nothing moves forward. Lighters fail to spark and trash piles up with no destination. Their conversations are captured by the lights that pass them by, and the blur of the passer-by's under the all-knowing glow of the street lamp that hangs overhead. The film is from the perspective of Anna as she develops a relationship with a regular customer named Chase. Through their relationship she gains confidence in herself, confidence enough to quit her dead-end job. To let go.
