"After the huge success of 'Bird Box', Netflix invests in another "high profile" horror movie: 'The Silence', based on Tim Lebbon's eponymous novel, directed by John R. Leonetti ('Annabelle') and starring Stanley Tucci ('Spotlight') and Kiernan Shipka (from the new version of 'Sabrina'). Although it shares many similarities with 'A Quiet Place', this movie stands out for its good performances and its dark look. In the story, creatures attack guided by sound (like in John Krasinski's movie), with the addition of more layers of social critique."
