An anxious college student is visited in a dream by six famous psychodynamic-oriented therapists who provide the student with counsel and engage in (a few entertaining and occasionally witty) dialogues related to each other. The cast of therapists include: Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, Donald Winnicott, Heinz Kohut, Melanie Klein, and Karen Horney. Each therapist provides the student with educational and biographical information, plus some friendly counsel based on their own theoretical orientations.
