When Masha Pchelkina, a television presenter meets Anton Budayev, a well-known patron of the arts, the attraction is instant. Having come from unhappy marriages, both are now divorced and free to pursue each other. However, Anton's son, Dania mistakenly believes that Masha is only after his father's money and tries unsuccessfully to split them up. Later, after their marriage, Anton leaves for a mountaineering expedition, and Dania decides to use this opportunity to drive his new stepmother out of their home once and for all. However, when they suddenly find out that an avalanche has hit the group and Anton has been reported missing, their troubles are only just beginning.
