The pandemic for many brought about a great sense of loss. A loss of normalcy, a loss of interaction, and a loss of loved ones. These emotions were felt by generations around the globe. One Step at a Time is a documentary created from that sense of loss, blossoming into a tribute of empowerment, family, black excellence, and love. Join us on this journey, as we track how Studio One Dance Theatre for over 3 decades has poured greatness into the lives of children on Chicago's South Side, creating a dynamic environment that cannot be matched and a void, throughout the pandemic that could not be filled. But as taught in lessons for the past 35 years, through it all, we will move forward as a family....One Step at a Time.
