Two elite snipers are assigned a mysterious mission to guard either side of a deep, impenetrable gorge, without knowing what actually lies beneath them.
"Directed by Scott Derrickson (The Black Phone), The Gorge is an intriguing film that blends several elements, from action and horror to science fiction and romance. The plot follows two elite mercenaries (Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller) assigned separately to a secret mission: to guard a mysterious gorge from opposing watch towers, without making contact with each other. However, due to the profound isolation of the mission, they soon devise a way to communicate and uncover the true nature of the gorge. With great performances, a soundtrack composed by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, and a plot that mixes genres in a curious way, it's certainly an interesting film. A great option for popcorn home entertainment, if you can digest its unique sensibility."
