The Turtle brothers strive to be accepted as normal teenagers in New York, but face a dangerous crime syndicate and an army of mutants.
Trailer
Why watch this film?
After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.
"Growing up watching The Ninja Turtles in the animated series or its first movie releases, the part of Teenage (“teenagers” in English) in the original title (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) was not something I saw reflected in them. Finally, with Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem), the four protagonists finally look like that: immature but well-intentioned young people who are only looking for a place in the world, closer to the clumsy characters of Superbad than to stoic and violent warriors. With a spectacular visual style similar to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, this production gives a new layer of painting to the franchise for new generations, and even though its creative liberties may not please the most purist fans, it is a very fun proposal that addresses issues such as intolerance and acceptance.
